Remove contacts from micro quadlock system coupling - AR00.19-P-0120-04A

Unfasten secondary release on version with retaining cap 

  1. Guide suitable tool (1) all the way into groove (4) from the side.
  2. Remove retaining cap (2) from coupling housing (3) in direction of arrow.

    Unfasten secondary release on version with retainer housing (shown on micro quadlock system/Multi Contact Point coupling) 

  3. Lift locking catch (2) of retaining cap (4) using a suitable tool (1).
  4. Pull coupling housing (3) from retaining cap (4) in direction shown by arrow.

    Unfasten secondary release on version with cap 

  5. Detach cover (1) from cap (2) in direction of arrow over the catch mechanism.
  6. Remove connector housing (3) from cap (2) in direction of arrow.

    Unfasten secondary release on version with 2nd contact retainer 

  7. Using a suitable tool, open the contact retainer (1).
  8. Pry up the contact retainer (1) in direction shown by arrow.

  9. Push suitable tool underneath locking catches (1).
  10. Pry up the lock tabs (1) in direction shown by arrow.

    Unfasten secondary release on version with retainer housing 

  11. Using a suitable tool, pry up the locking tab on the retaining cap (5).
  12. Pull coupling housing (6) from retaining cap (5) in direction of arrow.

    Unpin female contacts from coupling 

  13. Attach blade holder with SPECIAL TOOL clamping pliers and SPECIAL TOOL MQS blade from above through opening in exposed connector housing (1) at spring shackle of female contact (2).
  14. Press the spring shackle of the female contact (2) downward and push the female contact (2) out of the contact cavity of the connector housing (1). Tug the corresponding cable at the same time to assist the unpinning procedure.

    Unpin female contacts from coupling with 2nd contact retainer 

  15. Attach blade holder with SPECIAL TOOL clamping pliers and SPECIAL TOOL MQS blade from above through opening (3) of connector housing (1), press down spring shackle of female contact (2), and pull female contact (2) out of contact cavity of connector housing (1) to end stop.
  16. Attach blade holder with SPECIAL TOOL clamping pliers and SPECIAL TOOL MQS blade from above through opening (4), press down spring shackle of female contact (2), and pull female contact (2) out of contact cavity of connector housing (1).

    IMPORTANT Tug the corresponding cable at the same time to help unpinning procedure.
