Remove contacts from YAZAKI 1.5 system coupling - AR00.19-P-0120-28A

Unfasten secondary release with safety frame 

  1. Use suitable tool to remove safety frame (2).

    NOTES Avoid inserting the tool too far to prevent damaging the seal in the rear part of the coupling (1).

    Remove female contact from coupling 

  2. Insert blade holder with SPECIAL TOOL clamping pliers and SPECIAL TOOL MQS blade from front side though lower opening at contact cavity of coupling (1).

    IMPORTANT This then presses the spring shackle downwards.

  3. Pull lightly on the corresponding line to remove the female contact (2) from the coupling (1).

    IMPORTANT Rocking the female contact (2) back and forth making use of the housing tolerance may help to unpin the contact.
