Retrofit telephone wiring harness - AN82.70-P-0002-03MMM
Connection diagram for CTEL shown on portable CTEL branch-off line in armrest
- Prepare wiring harness (2) as shown in figure.
- Route wiring harness (2) along existing leads in the vehicle as shown in figure.
- Route branch-off line to handset transmitter and receiver connector (X39/5) as shown in figure to the center tunnel.
- Route telephone wiring harness (2) in cable duct below right front passenger seat.
- Route brown cable (br) of wiring harness (2) to ground (right inner door sill) (W28/2) and connect.
- Route CTEL wiring harness (2) in right cable duct into right rear compartment.
- Solder blue/black cable (bl/sw) of wiring harness (2) at left of driver's footwell with solder connector to blue/black (bl/sw) cable of the connector sleeve for the wake-up signal (Z35/10).
- Solder yellow/white cable (ge/ws) with solder connector to yellow/white cable (ge/ws) of diagnostic socket's (Z70/1) connector sleeve.
- Route black/yellow cable of wiring harness (2) on to left fuse box.
- Route voltage supply wiring harness, black/yellow (sw/ge) in left front fuse box (F1) to fuse holder (F1f18) and plug in.
Make sure that fuse socket (terminal 30) is fitted with a 5A fuse.
- Plug in branch-off line of voltage supply wiring harness, red/black cable (rt/sw) on rear fuse and relay module (K40/5) to fuse socket (F4-f63).
Make sure that fuse socket 63 (terminal 15) is fitted with a 7.5 A fuse.
- Route branch-off line of wiring harness (2) to CTEL D2B transceiver unit (A35/13) into the equipment plate area (3) below the right rear seat.
The cable for the microphone hands-free system has been pre-installed in the wiring harness for the overhead control panel.
- Pull out the overhead control panel and FFS connector (X25/8) at the parcel shelf and disconnect it.
- Open connector housing.
- Insert black cable (sw) branch-off line of wiring harness (2) into cell 1.
- Insert white cable (ws) branch-off line of wiring harness (2) into cell 15.
- Assemble connector housing again and connect.
- Route antenna wiring harness along existing leads into the right of the trunk.
- Route antenna cable of wiring harness (2) to CTEL and GPS roof antenna connector (A2/49x1).
