Overview with marked adapters (2, 3) on model 220
Routing shown on model 220
- Route voltage supply wiring harness (1) into the right-hand cable duct and to the right of the rear seat compartment.
- Route branch-off lines to vehicle rear (antenna and connecting lines for overhead control panel) (a) from rear seat compartment, along existing wiring harnesses upwards to parcel shelf or into the trunk.
- Connect brown cable (br) of voltage supply wiring harness (1) to ground right inner door sill (W28/2).
- Insert voltage supply wiring harness (1) into existing cable ducts to the center console. Put down branch-off lines (1/1, 1/2) on center tunnel.
- Continue inserting voltage supply wiring harness (1) into existing cable ducts to the driver's footwell (b).
- Solder blue/black cable (bl/sw) of voltage supply wiring harness (1) with solder connector to blue/black (bl/sw) cable of the connector sleeve for the wake-up signal (Z35/10).
- Route voltage supply wiring harness (1) along existing wiring harnesses towards engine compartment (b) to the left fuse box.
- Route voltage supply wiring harness, black/yellow (sw/ge) in left front fuse box (F1) to socket (F1-f18) and fit fuse holder housing to left front fuse and relay module (K40/6).
- Connect branch-off line of voltage supply wiring harness, red/black cable (rt/sw) on rear fuse and relay module (K40/5) to fuse socket (F4-f63).
The cable for the microphone hands-free system has been pre-installed in the wiring harness for the overhead control panel.
- Pull out the overhead control panel and FFS connector (X25/8) from below the parcel shelf and disconnect it.
- Insert black cable (sw) branch-off line of voltage supply wiring harness into pin 1.
- Insert white cable (ws) branch-off line of voltage supply wiring harness into pin 15.
- Route antenna cable along existing lines into rear of the vehicle (a) and clip into the line fasteners (6).
- Connect antenna lines (7) and (8) of the voltage supply wiring harness at the portable CTEL D2B interface (A59/1) to each other.
