Remove/install camber strut - AR35.20-P-0110MB

MODIFICATION NOTES

6.9.00 Value changed from 95 Nm to: 1st stage 60 Nm
2nd stage 90°		 Value changed to BA35.10-P-1001-01A for model 220 *BA35.10-P-1001-01A

REMOVINGINSTALLING Remove/install     
DANGER Risk of death  caused by vehicle slipping or toppling off of the lifting platform. Align vehicle between the columns of the lifting platform and position the four support plates at the lifting platform support points specified by the vehicle manufacturer. AS00.00-Z-0010-01A
NOTESInstallation  Replace self-locking nuts and bolts    
1 Remove rear spring   AR32.20-P-0230MB
2 Remove level sensor control rod from torsion bar intermediate lever TORQUE SPECIFICATION *BA82.10-P-1001-02A 
3 Use a suitable attachment and pit lift or floor jack beneath rear-axle center assembly to support rear axle    
4 Unscrew front and rear bolts of rear-axle mount on one side IMPORTANT Ensure that the stop plate (arrow) for the front rear axle mount is correctly positioned.
Installation:  recut thread on frame floor with tap.		  
    TORQUE SPECIFICATION Front rear-axle mounting bolts *BA35.10-P-1001-01A 
    TORQUE SPECIFICATION Rear rear-axle mounting bolts *BA35.10-P-1002-01A 
5 Lower rear axle on one side until the bolted connection of the camber strut to the rear-axle carrier is accessible NOTES The rear axle may only be lowered on one side.
Do not damage the brake hose and exhaust system. Disconnect exhaust system if necessary.		  
6 Detach camber strut (2) from wheel carrier and rear axle carrier    
    NOTESInstallation:  The rear axle shaft must be horizontal when tightening the nuts  
    TORQUE SPECIFICATION Camber strut to wheel carrier *BA35.20-P-1002-02B 
    TORQUE SPECIFICATION Camber strut to rear axle carrier *BA35.20-P-1001-02B 
7 Install in the reverse order
