Damage code	Cause	Remedy
82 111 04	Due to an insufficient ventilation system (one opening, old version) the fog lamps can fog up inside. With the use of the modified fog lamps (second opening, since 10/2001) the ventilation system has been improved in the sense that following a short driving distance (with headlamps switched on) formation of fog on the headlamps dries up. Generally formation of condensed water on glass lenses is a physical phenomenon and no reason for complaint This fogging does not lead to further damage of components and dries again while driving. This procedure can be accelerated by switching on the affected lamps.	On vehicles on which the modified front fog lamps have already been installed, replacement is not necessary. A cost settlement via warranty or goodwill is not possible in this case. If headlamps with one ventilation opening are installed: ↓ 1 Remove, install, replace headlamps. Use modified headlamps. Can be handled over the warranty/goodwill channels
