Except C32 AMG

NOTE: Numbers and letters in parenthesis refer to letters and numbers in illustrations.
  1. Raise and support vehicle. Remove wheel.
  2. NOTE: Seal off line connections immediately with plugs. The brake fluid reservoir must not be allowed to empty.
  3. Remove brake hose (51) at brake line (5) and then at caliper (31a). See Fig 1 .
  4. Disconnect brake pad wear indicator sensor (if equipped). Remove Wheel Speed sensor (if necessary).
  5. Remove bolts holding brake caliper to steering knuckle and remove brake caliper (31a) from steering knuckle.
  6. Installation is the reverse of removal. Replace self-locking bolts in order to avoid loosening. Tighten nuts and bolts to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS  . Bleed hydraulic brake system. See BLEEDING BRAKE SYSTEM  . Check brake fluid in reservoir and correct if necessary. Before driving, pump brake pedal several times until brake pads contact brake discs.
