Removal & Installation

  1. Remove cover below instrument panel. See COVER BELOW INSTRUMENT PANEL  .
  2. Unplug electrical connector at brakelight switch (S9). See Fig 1 .
  3. Press locking device (S9b).
  4. Turn and pull out brakelight switch.
  5. Installation is the reverse order of removal. During installation, pullout actuating pin (S9a). Fully depress bake pedal. Insert brakelight switch and turn until catch engages. Actuating path is adjusted automatically.
