	Check and adjust
1	Set steering wheel in center position	Use holding device (055)	Fig 2
2	Check center position of steering gear and steering wheel	The steering gear is in the center position when the separating line of the steering coupling coincides with the marking notch on the steering gear (arrows). If necessary, offset the steering wheel by a maximum of one tooth
3	Insert the wheel spreader (030) on the inside of the wheel at the front viewed in the direction of travel, remove	The flexible mounts on the transverse control arms result in a correspondingly large toe angle which reduces to the specified level when the vehicle is operational.	*WH58.30-Z-1005-14A
4	Rotate the tie rods (10) to adjust the toe angle.	Check that the rubber boot on the inner joint is not twisted after adjusting the toe	*BE40.20-P-1001-07A
