Convenience feature (CF) relay, purpose The CF relay (K24) supplies the seat adjustment with power depending on the state of the door contact switch (S17/3, S17/4) and c. 15R.
Convenience feature (CF) relay, function The relay links the signals from the two door contact switches and c. 15R via an OR function. If at least one door contact is not under power (e.g. door open) or c. 15R is ON the relay contact closes.
IMPORTANT When the door is open the door contact signal is connected to ground via the door contact switch.
