Removing and installing exterior door handle on front door - AR72.10-P-2400G

	Removal
1	Pull door sealing frame out of channel in area of door lock
2	Loosen screw (7), pull door handle (2) out to stop and hold in place. Retighten screw (7) lightly with handle in this position (4 mm Allen screw)	Left front door:  Right-hand thread Right front door:  Left-hand tread This step moves the release lever (8) on the door lock into the "installation position"
3	Remove screw (5) (4 mm Allen screw)	Screw (5) is secured against falling out
4	Remove lock cylinder guide (1)
5	Unscrew screw (6), slide door handle (2) toward rear and remove
	Installation
6	Insert door handle (2) into hinge strap (4) and into release lever (8)	The release lever (8) must be in the "installation position"  (see step 2) Ensure that the backing plates are positioned correctly (3)
7	Slide door handle (2) toward front and screw in screw (6)	Coat thread on screw (6) with screw securing agent
8	Install lock cylinder guide (1) and screw in screw (5)
9	Loosen screw (7) and retighten without  pulling or holding door handle (2)	This step moves the release lever (8) to the "operating position"	*BA72.10-P-1009-01A
10	Check door lock release for proper function by closing rotary catch in door lock with suitable tool and releasing with door handle (2)	if necessary, repeat adjustment (step 9)
11	Insert door sealing frame into channel
12	Check for proper function
