Remove cover above B-pillar |

Unhook rubber strap (3) on main mount |

Move vario-roof to installation position with roof switch |
Leave ignition switched on. The vario-roof remains in this position for 7 min. after the roof switch is released (stop function). The roof can be set to this position for another 7 minutes by pressing the roof switch again. |

Unhook cable (4) on main mount |
Push hook for cable (4) back with pliers when installing |

Unscrew screws (5), remove attachment (7) and cover (1) |
Do not mix up intermediate layers (6) when installing |

Unscrew screws (8) and remove cover (2) |
Do not mix up intermediate layers (9) when installing |

Reinstall in opposite order |
The pin (10) must engage in the opening in the attachment (7) when the vario-roof is put down.
Observe cable routing (arrow)
Adjust trunk lid fit (arrows) in relation to cover (1) with stop bolt (12).
Do not pull up side flap when vario-roof is opened, otherwise cable (4) can be damaged. |
