| During entire adjustment procedure pay attention to uniform transition and gap width in visible area (arrow) of glove compartment lid (1) in relation to instrument panel | |||
| 1 | Screw in stop buffer (3) | ||
| 2 | Loosen screw (5) and adjust gap width and transition at top and side with striker eye (2) (arrows) | ||
| 3 | Loosen screws (4) and adjust gap width and transition at bottom side (arrows) | ||
| 4 | Unscrew both stop buffers (3) until the glove compartment lid (1) makes contact and can still be closed easily | ||
| 5 | Check for easy motion and proper function |
