Open trunk lid |

Mark position of hinge lever (1) on trunk lid |

Unscrew screws (2) |
 |

Close trunk lid, pivot to rear with roof switch and open trunk lid again |

| 5 |
Open or separate holders (3) for wiring harness |
|
|
| 6 |
Unscrew screws (4) on strut (5) for wiring harness |

| 7 |
Unhook gas pressure strut (6) from hinge lever (1) |
|
|
| 8 |
Close trunk lid |
Do not damage seal with locking yoke on trunk lid. Leave trunk lid pivoted to rear |

Unscrew screws (7) in tubular frame (8) |

Unscrew screws (2) and remove hinge lever (1) |

Reinstall in opposite order |
Check adjustment of trunk lid, if necessary ↓ |
