Retrofit AMG rear spoiler - AZ88.50-P-0001-01A

IMPORTANT

Only install the AMG rear spoiler in a closed room with a minimum temperature of 20° Celsius.

Clean the gluing surfaces to remove all dust and grease before cementing!

Mark dimensions 

  1. Mark a distance of 736 mm from the extreme edge of the trunk lid to the front edge of the spoiler on both sides of the vehicle (see arrow).

    NOTES The dimensions must be exact!

    IMPORTANT Mark the measured points using adhesive tape (TESA crepe or similar).

  2. Mark dimensions 

  3. Mark a distance of 509 mm from the center of the trunk lid edge to the edge of the spoiler (see arrow).

    NOTES The dimensions must be exact!

    IMPORTANT Mark the measured points using adhesive tape (TESA crepe or similar).

  4. Preparing rear spoiler for installation 

  5. Pull back protective foil (1) for a length of approx. 100 mm at both extreme ends, top and bottom.
  6. Pull off protective foil (2) for a length of approx. 100 mm to both sides of the center.
  7. Pull off protective foil (3) from the short length of adhesive tape entirely.
  8. Apply glue to marked points (arrows between pieces of adhesive tape)

  9. Attaching rear spoiler 

  10. Align the rear spoiler with respect to the brake lamp and position with the exposed foil on the 509 mm marking.

  11. Lift the rear spoiler slightly and pull out the protective foil on both sides, paying attention to the 736 mm marking.
  12. Then press the rear spoiler down firmly from the center to the outsides.

NOTESAfter positioning, the rear spoiler must be pressed down firmly along the entire adhesive surface! 

Maximum bonding is achieved only after approx. 72 hours at 20° Celsius! 

Do not use a car wash within the first 24 hours!
