Installing wiring harness of shutoff relay for anti-towing sensor actuation - SM80.50-P-0001-01B

- Fabricate wiring harness, see figure.
- Route wiring harness (1) along existing lines in vehicle as shown in figure.
- Disconnect black 18-pin connector from PSE control module (combined) (A37), open connector and remove lead (3) from chamber 15.
- Expose lead (3) approx. 100 mm, cut off terminal and solder on new terminal (4).
- Insert lead (3) into chamber 8 of relay socket (5). Install brown, gray/green and pink/green leads on terminal (4).
Insert brown lead (br) in chamber 4,
gray/green lead (gr/gn) in chamber 5,
pink/green lead (rs/gr) in chamber 6.
- Install gray/green lead (gr/gn) on terminal (6) and insert into chamber 15 of black connector for PSE control module (combined).
- Connect black connector to PSE control module (combined).
- Plug white retaining clip and relay circuit 15 (K40/5ks) to relay socket and wrap with adhesive felt.
- Lay wrapped relay over black connector of PSE control module (combined) (A37). Fasten leads with cable strap to existing lines.
- Install brown lead on round terminal and connect to ground (right wheelhouse in trunk) (W7).
- Route pink/green lead (rs/gn) through right rear wall toward front in cable duct below passenger seat to right foot support.
- Route pink/green lead (rs/gn) in passenger footwell along existing lines to radio shaft and fasten with cable strap.
- Solder pink/green lead (rs/gn) to pink/green lead (rs/gn) from radio connector (13) with solder connector (circuit 15R).
