General notes for retrofitting extended anti-theft alarm (EATA) - AH80.50-P-0001-01A

For operation of the extended anti-theft alarm (EATA) observe manufacturer's operating instructions included with parts kit. On vehicles with anti-theft alarm (ATA) (code 551) the connector must be disconnected from the ATA control module (N26) and tied back to prevent two functional alarm systems from being connected simultaneously. Attach white sticker to ATA control module (N26) with the following text: "ATA disconnected because EATA retrofitted". Cover wires located outside of wiring shafts with spaghetti or wrap with a friction tape. Insulate all soldered points with hot shrink tubing. Use components provided in kit for completing electrical connections.
Program extended anti-theft alarm according to programming instructions.
Check for proper function according to operating instructions for extended anti-theft alarm (EATA) included with parts kit.
Place operating instructions for extended anti-theft arm (EATA) in glove compartment and advise customer.
Glue extended anti-theft alarm sticker in lower area of window in driver's and passenger door.
Fill out guarantee and give to customer.
