Switching off anti-towing sensor, function - GF80.50-P-3024C

MODEL 170 with CODE (551a) Anti-theft alarm (ATA) 

MODEL 170 up to 31.5.98 with CODE (552a) Anti-theft alarm (ATA) for Switzerland 

The anti-towing sensor (TS)  can be switched off with the anti-towing sensor/status indicator switch (S85/3)  in the center console.

Switch-off must be accomplished with the anti-theft alarm (ATA)  deactivated and ignition switched off (circuit 15 off).

Press the switch up to switch off the TS  . Actuation of the switch is registered by the PSE control module (combined) (A37). 

After releasing the switch successful switch-off is indicated by the LED in the switch coming on continuously  for two seconds. When the ATA is activated the next time  the TS remains off.

• Switching off the TS feature is effective only for one ATA activation period. If desired it must be switched off again before activating the ATA again.
