The driver-side wiper arm and the passenger-side wiper arm can only be adjusted together and must only be adjusted if the test and adjustment values of both wiper arms are out of tolerance.
The testing and adjustment procedure is always performed in the parked position.
Change relevant sign of test and adjustment values for right-hand drive vehicles.
- Open hood.

Fit angle measuring device (A) with
- Lower driver-side wiper arm (1) until all three contact points of the
- Slacken screw (2) to firewall in engine compartment.
- Slide screw (2) and thus the wiper system horizontally until the correct setting is shown on the scale of the
- Close hood.
