	Removal, installation

1	Disconnect ground lead from battery
2	Remove upper section of instrument panel		AR68.10-P-1020G
3	Fold over vapor seal (1) in area of screws (2) toward front
4	Disconnect connector from squib (R12/8) on gas generator	Installation:  Connector should catch audibly
5	Unscrew screws (2) for passenger airbag
6	Remove passenger airbag
	Rendering airbags unusable		AR91.60-P-0611A
7	Install in opposite order	After the passenger airbag has triggered it is necessary to install a new upper section of the instrument panel
8	Perform diagnosis	See Diagnosis Manual, Body
