Airbag (AB) prerequisites for testing electrical system - AD91.60-P-2000-01A

Test cable for ignition squib connectors 

Material:

1 coupling, part no. 019 545 19 28

1 coupling, part no. 034 545 63 28

2 cables with 2.5 mm sockets from electrical connection set.

2 cables with 2.5 mm pins from electrical connection set.

IMPORTANT

All connectors or plug-in connectors (red) of the ignition squibs are to be designed with short-circuit bridges. When disconnected, the ignition circuit or the squib is short-circuited. All work on the airbag and ETR restraint system can therefore be carried out with the ignition key removed.

Accessories (for vehicles with automatic child seat recognition - ACSR only)

During welding work, the negative terminal of the battery should also be disconnected and covered and the coupling on the ETR control module with airbag (N2/2) is to be disconnected.

The earlier standard test connector/plug connection is no longer available.

Model 140 

Connector (10-pin) between cockpit and frame floor unit.

Models 202/210 

Connector (2-pin) for front passenger airbag between cockpit and frame floor unit

Models 170/210 

Connector (2-pin) for side airbag on front left/right door.
