	Measurement
1	Measure and note dimension "a" between pitman arm (24) and steering gear (23) using caliper gauge
	Removal
2	Detach locking ring (23p)
3	Detach pitman arm (24) at the pitman arm shaft
4	Detach locking ring (23o)
5	Press sealing ring (23n) out of the steering housing using a screwdriver	Do not damage pitman arm shaft
	Installation
6	Press in new sealing ring (23n) up to the stop in the steering gear using an impact drift (091)	Do not damage sealing lip of radial shaft sealing ring when sliding on over the splines

7	Fit locking ring (23o)
8	Clean oil and grease off splined section of the pitman arm shaft and pitman arm
9	Push on pitman arm (24) for the dimension "a" (item 1) and attach	Replace self-locking nut (24a)	*BA46.20-P-1006-01A
10	Fit locking ring (23p)
	Checking
11	Check, correct power steering fluid level	Models 140, Model 202 up to 31.8.95 Model 129 with engine 114, 119, 120 Model 208 with engine 111	AP46.00-P-4611BA
