Pressing out
- Unscrew self-locking nut from tie rod joint (10a).
- Install thrust piece (046).
- Press tie rod joint (10a) out of steering knuckle using puller (045).
- Remove puller and thrust piece.
- Clean tapered connection.
- Replace and tighten self-locking nut. If necessary, steady ball end with Allen wrench.
Installing
