| 1 | Open glove compartment lid (1) and unscrew screw (2) | ||
| 2 | Remove housing (4) on glove compartment lid (1) | ||
| 3 | Cut notch in driver (3) at marked point (arrow) with suitable tool, break with combination pliers and remove completely | ||
| 4 | Insert ignition key into lock cylinder (5) and remove lock cylinder (5) from housing (4) | ||
| Installation | |||
| 5 | Insert lock cylinder (5) into housing with ignition key | ||
| 6 | Remove ignition key and secure lock cylinder (5) against falling out with adhesive tape | ||
| 7 | Lay housing (4) down on suitable surface with handle side down | ||
| 8 | Install new driver (3) with installation tool in lock cylinder (5) and housing (4) so that it catches audibly | ||

| 9 | Remove adhesive tape and install housing (4) on glove compartment lid (1) and screw in screws (2) | ||
| 10 | Check for proper function |
