1	Check and/or perform version coding for TELE AID control module	TELE AID emergency call system control module version coding
	TELE AID control module must be coded.	Models 129, 140, 202, 208.3, 210	AD82.95-P-2000-05A
2	Check whether SIM card is inserted directly in the card reader of the telephone	A SIM card should not be inserted. A SIM card in the telephone card reader would lock the authorization of the vehicle.
3	Insert SIM card for emergency call	The fully operational SIM card for emergency call should be inserted in the CTEL transmitter and receiver (A35) The vehicle should be parked outside (GPS availability). The CTEL transmitter and receiver (A35) is located in the trunk. Observe location of components in the following document. Refer to: ↓

4	HHT diagnosis module	The vehicle should not be in the diagnosis mode.
5	Switch telephone off at the handset	Telephone display disappeared.
6	Withdraw ignition key	LED "SOS" of the emergency pushbutton should be "off".
7	Send fax application filled out to Tegaron	The fax application should include all specifications of the vehicle and authorized dealer required for performing the function check. Use the following document listed as form for the fax. Refer to: ↓

8	Contact Tegaron service by telephone	For this purpose a telephone independent of the vehicle is required. For the duration of the authorization the telephone contact to Tegaron is maintained.
9	Switch ignition on	Depending on the telephone manufacturer the steps can vary. Observe instructions of Tegaron service.
10	Switch on telephone on handset	The LED "SOS" in the TELE AID emergency call pushbutton switch (S93/3) should come on the overhead control panel.
11	Enter PIN number
12	Press "MENU" button three times
13	Confirm with "Okay".
14	when checking PIN, press "#" button three times
15	Confirm with "Okay".
16	Changing "PIN number", press "#" button twice
17	Confirm with "Okay".
18	Enter old "PIN number"
19	Enter new "PIN number"
20	Confirm with "Okay".
21	Enter new "PIN number" again
22	Confirm with "Okay".
23	Store "Export PIN"
24	Confirm with "Okay".
25	Press "C" button three times	The network provider "D1Telekom" appears on the display.
26	Allow telephone to be switched on, wait 3 minutes	The data exchange between the TELE AID control module (vehicle) and service provider Tegaron is accomplished now.
27	Wait for call/instructions of the Tegaron service provider	When the authorization is performed successfully the LED "SOS" in the TELE AID emergency call pushbutton switch (S93/3) should be go out. Contact person from Tegaron gives instructions for function test.
28	Trigger manual emergency call pressing "SOS" TELE AID emergency call pushbutton switch (S93/3)	The manual emergency call over the "SOS" TELE AID pushbutton switch (S93/3) in the overhead control panel runs to the vehicle over a bi-directional voice connection. The test can therefore be communicated by making contact with the service provider (Tegaron).
29	Perform additional function checks for taxi emergency call	On vehicles equipped with taxi emergency call additional function tests must be performed before authorization is completed. On vehicles only equipped with TELE AID emergency call step "29" is eliminated; complete authorization with step "30".

30	Wait for fax answer from Tegaron	Without fax answer the vehicle cannot be delivered to the customer with authorization. If confirmation is not received, contact Tegaron.
