Removing and installing wiper motor - AR82.30-P-6800G: Notes

REMOVING Remove     
DANGER Risk of injury in the form of trapping or crushing, or even severing of limbs, if caught in windshield wiper mechanism  Always remove ignition key when working on windshield wiper mechanism. AS82.30-Z-0001-01A
1 Withdraw ignition key    
2 Remove wiper system   AR82.30-P-6400G 
3 Unscrew nut (1) from wiper motor shaft    
4 Press crank arm (3) off of wiper motor shaft    
5 Unscrew screws (2) on wiper motor (M6/1)    
6 Remove wiper motor (M6/1)    
INSTALLING Install     
7 Move wiper motor (M6/1) to parking position   AR82.30-P-6800-01G 
8 Install wiper motor    
9 Screw in screws (2) for wiper motor (M6/1) SPECIAL TOOL Fig 3
    TORQUE SPECIFICATION *BA82.30-P-1001-01A 
10 Align crank arm (3) and press on to wiper motor shaft NOTES Pay attention to setting: Crank arm (3) must be parallel to and covered by wiper linkage (4)  
11 Screw nut (1) onto wiper motor shaft SPECIAL TOOL Fig 3
    TORQUE SPECIFICATION *BA82.30-P-1002-01A 
12 Install wiper system   AR82.30-P-6400G 
TORQUE SPECIFICATION Windshield wiper
