Removing control modules from control module box - AR54.20-P-1257-01C

Illustrated on model 170.435, left-hand steering (LHS) 

  1. Push locking slide (2) on connector for windshield wiper to side and pull connector off of multi-function control module (N10-3).
  2. Fold locking tab (1) up and disconnect connector from control module (N10-3).
  3. Unclip blower motor connection to control module box at connector (N10-3).
  4. Press clamping spring (9) to side and remove multi-function control module (N10-3) from control module box.

IMPORTANT The engine control module (N3/4) and traction system control module (N47) are mounted on one plate (5) and always have to be removed together.

  1. Unlock connectors (3) on engine control module (N3/4).
  2. Pivot connectors (3) to side until they disconnect from the contact strip on the engine control module.
  3. Pull locking slides on connectors (10) on traction system control module (N47) out to stop.

    IMPORTANT The locking slides are located below the wire entrance.

  4. Remove connectors (10) from control module.
  5. Unscrew screw (7) and remove holder (5) from guides in control module box together with both control modules.

  1. Disconnect connectors (8) from relay module (K40).
  2. Press clamping spring (9) to side and remove relay module (K40) from control module box.
