Removing and installing combination switch - AR54.25-P-2800EA

REMOVINGINSTALLING Removal, installation     
1 Disconnect ground cable at the battery NOTES On model 210 insulate terminal on ground cable to prevent unintentional contact between disconnected ground cable and ground W10. AR54.10-P-0003A 
2 Remove steering wheel NOTES Caution when handling airbag unit. Improper handling may cause damage to the airbag unit AR46.10-P-0100B
3 Remove contact spiral   AR46.10-P-0200A
4.1 Remove cover below instrument panel (driver's side) Model 170 AR68.10-P-1500G
    Model 202 AR68.10-P-1500E
    Model 210 AR68.10-P-1500F
4.2 Remove bottom section of instrument panel (driver's side) Model 208 AR68.10-P-1505K
5 Unscrew screw (31)    
6 Take out bracket (32)    
7 Separate connector (S4x1) Take connector out of fixture and push bar (arrow)  
8 Separate connector (S40x1) Cruise control (code 440a)
Take connector out of fixture
 
9 Detach wiring    
10.1 Take out casing tube cover (33) together with combination switch (S4) without cruise control  
10.2 Take out casing tube cover (33) with combination switch (S4) and cruise control switch (S40) with cruise control (code 440a)  
11.1 Take combination switch (S4) out of casing tube cover without cruise control  
11.2 Take combination switch (S4) and cruise control switch (S40) out of casing tube cover with cruise control (code 440a)  
12 Reinstall in opposite order
