1. Loosen nut on battery negative pole terminal.

   Do not disconnect negative pole terminal!

2. Prepare multimeter (2) for test using "Electrical connection set".
3. Connect positive test cable (+) to battery ground (W10).
4. Switch on multimeter (amps mode).
5. Carefully pull negative pole terminal (1) on battery upward and simultaneously connect negative test cable (-) to negative pole (3) below pole terminal.

   Do not interrupt circuit when pulling off negative pole terminal to avoid erasing any DTC's present. Remove negative pole terminal completely only after the multimeter test cable is clamped firmly to the negative pole.

6. Position multimeter (2) with test cable (6) outside of engine compartment.
