1	Check piston rod for surface damage and distortion	A bent piston rod binds when being pushed into the guide bush, if necessary ↓. Dispose of shock absorber strut.	OS32.25-P-0120-01A
2	Check oil reserve in shock absorber strut.	Press in piston rod in installed position (pointing upwards) 100 mm at least five times. Mark distance (a) on the piston rod with a felt-tip pen.
		Place shock absorber strut on scales and press in the piston rod up to the test marking (b).	*WH58.30-Z-1013-12A
		Multiply the measured value on the scales by ten.	*BE32.25-P-1001-01A
		If the measured value is not achieved ↓.	*BE32.25-P-1002-01A
		Dispose of shock absorber strut. In the event of repair, shock absorber struts can be replaced individually, irrespective of make.	OS32.25-P-0120-01A
