Removing and installing transmitter/receiver - AR82.70-P-8911BB

MODEL 129 as of 1.7.00 with CODE (853) MB standard cellular telephone

REMOVINGINSTALLING Removal, installation     
1 Connect quiescent current retention unit COMMERCIALLY AVAILABLE TOOLS *WH58.30-Z-1012-09A 
DANGER Risk of explosion  from explosive gas. Risk of poisoning and caustic burns  from swallowing battery electrolyte. Risk of injury  from caustic burns to eyes and skin from battery electrolyte or from handling damaged lead acid batteries. No fire, sparks, naked flames or smoking. Wear acid-protective gloves, clothing and eye protection. Pour battery electrolyte only into suitable and appropriately marked containers. AS54.10-Z-0001-01A
2 Disconnect ground cable of battery   AR54.10-P-0003A
NOTES Notes on battery All models. AH54.10-P-0001-01A
3 Remove paneling on left side in trunk    
4 Unscrew nuts (2) and screws (3)    
5 Carefully lift cradle (1) with control modules out of spare wheel recess NOTES Do not kink or stretch D2B fiber optic cable
IMPORTANT Do not damage connection lines.
 
6 Release connectors on D2B telephone transmitter/receiver (A35/13) and disconnect    
7 Unscrew screw (4)    
8 Pull out D2B telephone transmitter/receiver (A35/13)    
9 Install in the reverse order
