The set of measurement fixtures 168 589 07 63 00 is designed so that the measuring bolts, corresponding to the measurement points on the vehicle, can be screwed together from mounting bolts, extensions and measuring tips.
The construction of the measuring bolts is shown in the table, where the numbers in the column headed "Measuring bolt construction" are the special tool end numbers

- Comparison dimension "H1 " measured from the check bore "K " to the tie rod support on the wheel carrier left to right.
- Comparison dimension "H2 " measured from the check bore "K " to the center of the torx bolt head of the front bearing of the rear axle carrier left to right. Unscrew, screw in torx bolts if necessary and check for bending.
- Comparison dimension "H4 " measured from the check bore "K " to the center of the hexagon bolt of the front thrust arm on the rear axle carrier left to right.
- Comparison dimension "H5 " measured from the check bore "K " to the center of the torx bolt head of the rear bearing of the rear axle carrier left to right. Unscrew, screw in torx bolts if necessary and check for bending.
- Distance dimension "H6 " measured to the center of the torx bolt heads between the front bearings of the rear axle carrier.
- Distance "H7 " measured to the centers of the torx bolt heads between the rear mountings of the rear axle carrier.
- Distance dimension "H8 " measured to the center of the torx bolt heads between the front and rear bearing of the rear axle carrier.
- Comparison measurement "H9 " measured diagonally from left to right to the centers of the torx bolt heads between the front and rear mountings of the rear axle carrier.
