  R/P lock, location The R/P lock is integrated in the electronic selector lever module control unit (N15/5).  
  R/P lock, task The R/P lock prevents the selector lever from being shifted into selector lever position "R" above a speed of approx.
8 km/h. The R/P lock also locks the selector lever in position "P" when the shift lock is active.
