The pressure sensor is located at the right front next to the electric air pump (M33) and is connected by a hose to the intake pipe.

Task

The pressure sensor detects the intake air pressure (absolute pressure) in the intake pipe.

Function

The intake air pressure distorts a membrane which has an effect on a potentiometer. This alters the resistance value of the potentiometer and influences the output voltage, which is used by the ME control unit (N3/10) as information concerning the intake air pressure.

The pressure gauge range is between 0.2 up to 2.5 bar.
