PTS control unit, task - GF54.65-P-4100-02A

The Parktronic control unit (N62) performs the following tasks: 

• Voltage supply of sensors and warning indicators,
• Processing the ambient signals (reverse gear recognition, lights, vehicle speed signal and Parktronic system switch, trailer recognition (with code (550) trailer hitch)),
• Actuation of sensors,
• Evaluation of echo travel times,
• Production of the data of data telegrams for the warning indicators,
• Self-test of Parktronic system (PTS),
• Storage of system faults in the diagnostic trouble code memory.

The Parktronic control unit (N62) is connected with the other control units for data exchange via the Controller Area Network bus class B (interior) (CAN-B).
