Emission control, function - GF14.00-P-3000SM
ENGINE 113.986
ENGINE 113.987
ENGINE 113.988
ENGINE 113.989
The emission control system is divided into the following subsystems, which are controlled and coordinated by the ME control unit (N3/10):
- Lambda control
- Two-sensor control
- O2 sensor heater
- TWC heating up
- Air injection
- Exhaust gas recirculation EGR
The task of the emission control system is to reduce the exhaust emissions of:
- Nitrogen oxides (NOX )
- Hydrocarbon (HC)
- Carbon monoxide (CO)
