TPM control module, task - GF40.15-P-3000-03B
Model 215, 220 up to 30.09.00
Function
The tire temperature is taken into account when comparing the current tire pressure with the saved specified value. The TPM control module (N88) calculates the valid limits for the current tire temperature.
If the pressure drops below these limits, the TPC (RDK) control module (N88) sends an appropriate CAN signal to the instrument cluster (A1) according to the pressure deviation. This CAN signal is processed in the instrument cluster (A1) and the corresponding information conveyed to the driver via the multifunction display (A1p13) (display color: yellow or red).
