Installation	Replace self-locking nuts and bolts

3	Detach spring strut (41) from spring control arm		*BA32.25-P-1005-04B
4	Use a suitable attachment and pit lift or floor jack beneath rear-axle center assembly to support rear axle
5	Unscrew front and rear mounting bolts (1c and 1d) on one side of rear axle	Ensure that the stop plate (arrow) for the front rear-axle mount is correctly positioned. Installation: Chase thread on frame floor with tap

6	Carefully lower rear axle until the bolted connection of the torque strut to the rear-axle carrier is accessible	The rear axle may only be lowered on one side. Do not damage the brake hose and exhaust system. Disconnect exhaust system if necessary.
7	Remove torque strut (3) from wheel carrier and rear axle carrier	Installation: The rear axle shaft must be horizontal when tightening the nuts
