The vehicle may only be raised at the front or rear axle using an inspection pit lift. The inspection pit lift must be equipped with an axle traverse with prism-shaped covers (arrows).
Protect the raised vehicle from tipping over or falling down at the longitudinal control arm brackets (arrows) with jack stands or support bridges.
Also block axle that has not been raised to prevent it from rolling away.
