1	Activate Service mode in Tele-Aid emergency call system	Only for model 463.243/244/245/ 247/248/250/270/254/309/322/323/ 332/333 with TeleAid - car telephone emergency call system, code ET2	AR82.95-P-0005-03GR

	Risk of explosion  caused by oxyhydrogen gas. Risk of poisoning and caustic burns  caused by swallowing battery acid. Risk of injury  caused by burns to skin and eyes from battery acid or when handling damaged lead-acid batteries	No fire, sparks, open flames or smoking. 2	Disconnect battery ground cable		AR54.10-P-0003G

3	Remove right front floor covering
4	Unscrew nuts (1)	If necessary lift panel in right front passenger footwell (2).
5	Remove ESP and BAS control unit (N47-5) with assembly plate (3)	Slightly lift air duct to right rear compartment (4). The control system for the antilock brake system (ABS) is integrated in the ESP and BAS control unit (N47-5).
6	Unlock and unplug connectors (5).
7	Disconnect electrical connector (6)
8	Unscrew nuts (7).
9	Remove ESP and BAS control unit (N47-5) from the assembly plate (3)
10	Install in the reverse order
11	Deactivate service mode in TELE AID emergency call system	Only for model 463.243/244/245/247/ 248/250/270/254/309/322/323/332/333 with TeleAid - car telephone emergency call system, code ET2	AR82.95-P-0005-03GR

12	Read out fault memory and erase	When the work is finished, stored faults in the fault memory must be processed and erased. The stored faults can be caused by disconnected lines during assembly or test work as well as by a simulation.
