  BAS solenoid valve, location The BAS solenoid valve (A7/7y1) is located inside the BAS brake booster (A7/7).  
  BAS solenoid valve, task The BAS solenoid valve (A7/7y1) actuates the output rod of the brake booster (A7/7).  
  BAS solenoid valve, function After actuating the solenoid of the BAS solenoid valve (A7/7y1) with an electric control signal, a force is applied inductively to an anchor that can be shifted axially and which operates the output rod of the brake booster (A7/7).
