  BAS diaphragm travel sensor, location The BAS diaphragm travel sensor (A7/7b1) is located on the housing of the BAS brake booster (A7/7).  
  Diaphragm travel sensor, task The BAS diaphragm travel sensor (A7/7b1) detects the position of the diaphragm plate of the BAS brake booster (A7/7).  
  BAS diaphragm travel sensor, function The BAS diaphragm travel sensor (A7/7b1) uses a mechanical probe, which is coupled directly with the diaphragm plate of the BAS brake booster (A7/7) to detect the movement of the diaphragm plate and it then generates a proportional, analog voltage signal.
