Location

The rear door control units are located on the corresponding door module behind the door trim.

Task

The rear door control unit reads in the signals from the following sensors and switches, actuate their function and instrument illumination and sensors and switch subsequent loads via semi-conductor switches.

The rear door control units are to the interior CAN to exchange data on vehicles without code (ZS6) Special protection version FB6 and without code (ZS7) Special protection version FB7 and on model 463.236 with code (ZS6) Special protection version FB6 and rear bench seat.

On model 463.236 with code (ZS6) Special protection version FB6 and individual rear seats or code (ZS7) Special protection version FB7 data is exchanged via the individual rear seat system gateway control unit (N93/6), which relays data from the individual rear seat CAN (CAN BX) to the interior CAN and vice versa.
