Risk of injury from caustic burns to eyes and skin from battery electrolyte or from handling damaged lead acid batteries. | No fire, sparks, naked flames or smoking. | 2 | Remove side cover on left side of trunk | ||
| 3 | Unscrew welding bolt nut (2) from cradle (1) | ||
| 4 | Unscrew nut (3) from side wall | ||
| 5 | Lift cradle (1) with all control modules out of wheelhouse and place in trunk | ||
| 6.1 | Release connectors on telephone interface (A34/4) and disconnect | ||
| 6.2 | Release fiber optic cable and disconnect | ||
| 7 | Unscrew screws (6) | ||
| 8 | Lift telephone interface (1) out of cradle | ||
| 9 | Install in the reverse order |
