Retrofitting wiring harness of Linguatronic voice control system - AN82.70-P-0004-01CD

Model 210.2 

  1. Modify voice control system wiring harness (1) as shown in figure.

  2. Route voice control system (1) wiring harness along present leads in vehicle as shown in figure.

  3. Route voice control system wiring harness (1) to right side of load compartment along present leads as shown in figure.
  4. Route tieout to voice control system control module (A35/11) in wheelhouse recess.

  5. Connect brown lead of wiring harness (1) to ground (right taillamp in trunk) (W7/1).

  6. Route red/pink (rt/rs) lead, circuit 30 to rear fuse box (F4) below rear bench seat.
  7. Connect red/pink (rt/rs) lead, circuit 30 to fuse 15.

  8. Route wiring harness tieout (1) to microphone separation point (X58/3) in wiring duct below seat as shown in figure.
  9. Route blue/black (bl/sw) lead in wiring duct below driver's seat to left B-pillar.

  10. Disconnect standard connector from microphone separation point (X58/3) (no longer required) and connect wiring harness connector (1).

  11. Expose blue/black (bl/sw) lead of D2B wake-up signal connector sleeve (optical network) (Z35/10) in area of left B-pillar.
  12. Solder blue/black (bl/sw) lead of wiring harness in wiring duct on left B-pillar to blue/black (bl/ sw) lead of fiber optic cable wiring harness (1) with solder connector.

  13. Route wiring harness tieout (1) to microphone on right A-pillar upward to overhead control panel.

    IMPORTANT Fasten lead to headliner with adhesive felt.

  14. Disconnect standard connector from hands-free system microphone (B25) and tie back (no longer required). Connect hands-free system microphone (B25) connector of voice control system wiring harness to microphone and fasten with adhesive felt.
