Retrofitting activation switch of Linguatronic voice control system - AN82.70-P-0004-02CC

Model 210 

1. Install new jacket tube covering (according to version equipment with or without cruise control cutout)

Vehicles with cruise control 

2. Remove cruise control switch (S40) (no longer required)

   VCS switch (S93/2) and cruise control switch (S40) form one unit.

3. Install VCS switch (S93/2) and cruise control switch (S40) on steering column as shown in figure.

4. Route cruise control switch lead to EIS control module (N73) below instrument panel below present leads and connect as shown in figure.

5. Route VCS switch lead (7) to left instrument cluster (A1) connector along present leads.

6. Open left connector on instrument cluster (A1)
7. Insert VCS switch (S93/2) connector into chamber D.
8. Reclose connector on instrument cluster (A1).
