Retrofitting TrafficStar radio and navigation system - AZ82.61-P-0001-02C

  1. Extend backup signal lead (2) from parts set by approx. 1.5 m using commercially available, 0.75 mm 2 wire.
  2. Route backup signal lead (2) from light module (N7-1) along existing wiring harness to radio shaft.

  3. Check gray/green wire for backup lamp switch from standard wiring harness in light module (N7-1) chamber 1 and expose.

    IMPORTANT If color code differs, lead connection is decisive (if necessary check wiring diagram).

    IMPORTANT Model 210, gray/green wire from backup lamp switch.

    Model 208.4, gray/yellow wire from backup lamp switch.

  4. Solder backup signal lead (2) to gray/green wire (gr/gn) from light module (N7-1) and insulate.

  5. Insert free connector contact into backup signal lead (2) in radio connector (A) chamber 2.

  6. Connect radio connector (A) and connector (C3) for GPS antenna with TrafficStar radio and navigation system.
  7. Connect radio antenna.
  8. Install TrafficStar (1) radio and navigation system.
