- Prepare CTEL wiring harness (2) as shown in figure.

- Route wiring harness (2) along existing leads in the vehicle as shown in figure.
- Route CTEL wiring harness (2 ) starting at the trunk along existing leads in vehicle as shown in figure.
- Connect brown lead to ground (left taillamp in trunk) (W6/1).
- Route branch-off line to rear fuse box (F4).
- Connect red/pink (rt/rs) lead, terminal 30 to fuse 15.
- Solder blue/black (bl/sw) lead of wiring harness in wiring duct on left B-pillar to blue/black (bl/ sw) lead of optical wave guide wiring harness (1) with solder connector.
- Route branch-off line from wiring harness (2) to roof antenna connector (A2/22x1) at left C-pillar and fasten in place using adhesive felt (arrow).
- Route branch-off lines from wiring harness (2) to center console as shown in figure to cable duct below seat.
When installing the portable CTEL holder in the armrest, the branch-off lines for the CTEL handset (A34) and handset transmitter and receiver connector (X39/5) remain in the lower center console area.
When installing the portable CTEL holder at the right of the center console, the two branch-off lines must be routed to the radio recess. Depending upon the mounting console used, the branch-off lines are routed to the right below the installation console.
- Route branch-off line from wiring harness (2) to microphone separation point (X58/3) in area of the left A-pillar.
- Connect microphone extension line (3) and route it along the A-pillar to the overhead control panel.
Tie back any excessive lengths in the left cable duct.
- Extend black/pink cable (sw/rs) if required by approx. 1 m, fit cable terminal to it and then route to the fuse and relay box (F1). Connect black/pink (sw/rs) cable to fuse 23 (terminal 15R).
