Installing illuminated entrance trim panel - AZ82.20-P-0001-01CB

Model 210 model year 2000 

1. Stick lighting film (3) over existing adhesive tape on the underside of the metal sill panel (1).

   The silver side of the lighting film (3) does not light up.

2. Align metal and standard sill panels according to the diagram, mark through hole (4, arrow) level with the cable exit in the lighting film (3) on the standard sill panel (2) and widen to dia. 20 mm.

   Degrease standard sill panel with a cleaning cloth.

3. Stick metal sill panel (1) onto standard sill panel (2).
4. Fix connecting cable for lighting film on underside of standard sill panel (2) with adhesive tape (6).
5. Cut notch (see arrow) for connecting cable with 2-pin connector in the fold seam.
6. Connect 2-pin plug (11) from cable harness with 2-pin connector on lighting strip (5) and lay in cable duct.

7. Clip in outer illuminated entrance trim panel (1).
8. Attach rubber door seal and fit inner standard sill panel.

   Degrease standard sill panel with a cleaning cloth.

9. Stick inner metal sill panel (4) onto installed standard sill panel.

   Remove the protective foil from the adhesive strip on the inside of the metal sill panel (4).
