Retrofitting parktronic system (PTS) warning displays in instrument panel - AN54.65-P-0003-01A

  1. Work out hole in instrument panel according to dimensions (is already provided in the majority of vehicles).

  2. Saw off trim strips as illustrated. (The shaded part is no longer required.)

    IMPORTANT Do not damage the coating of the trim strips when sawing.

    (All dimensions from center of attachment bolts)

  3. Remove attachment clip from attachment holes 20 and 21.
  4. Run connection cable to parktronic system (PTS) warning display in left of instrument panel (A44/1) through attachment hole 20 and connect to warning display.
  5. Insert left trim strip (22) into slot of warning display (A44/1) and attach to hole (21) with washer (23) and nut (24).
  6. Install trim strip (25).
  7. Connect parktronic system (PTS) warning display in center of instrument panel (A44/4) and push to the left up to the trim strip (25).
  8. Install trim strip (26). (Trim strip should be pushed over the attachment plate (arrow) at the warning display.)
